Challenging Poetry

this or that?

don't assume that reducing alternatives
to two could possibly make
things easy. I want to choose
on a continuum, weighing options in
fractals that grow more complicated
the closer I look. I hate knowing
that embracing one, makes the path
untaken, dead.
