| once, I looked outside and the world had softened into blues—skies, powders. calms, periwinkles, blueberries, bruises, navies, sapphires, stillnesses, bluebonnets, sadnesses, royals, lapis lazulis, indigos, despairs-- a cloud, a fog, a dirge— low and sweet and strong, filling the air with so much blue until all I could do was stop.
