One More This Month
One More This Month

It will be one more Short Story this month after all. I finished my WDC Short Story for this month late this afternoon. I had about an hour to create it as well as post a My Notebook entry, a Shameless Plug Page, and a Please Review Page today. I didn’t know if I could get all that done in about an hour, but I did.

When I went to The Hub to see if I was in the posted list for the Shameless Plug Page and the Please Review Page, I noticed another contest I like to enter was hosting another contest this month. After checking my Favorites, I noticed there was a new contest for this contest this month. I admittedly went into this contest to check it out.

After copying and pasting this contest prompt into a new document, I started thinking about this prompt. It didn’t take me too long to remember a Short Story that goes along with this prompt. Unfortunately, that’s as far as I have gotten with this Short Story so far.

Right now, the title for this Short Story is “The Machines of War” because it’s the prompt for this contest. That will probably change once I get started writing this Short Story. I’m not sure what the title for this Short Story will be, but I will when I decide to start writing it.

That’s why latest problem that I need to figure out. What will I do tomorrow and this weekend? Will I start working on this Short Story tomorrow? If I do, will I continue working on it this weekend at work? I could also work on it tomorrow and continue working on it on Monday, leaving the weekend to return to working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project.

Another possible outcome is to start working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project tomorrow and to continue to work on it this weekend. Then on Monday, I will start working on this Short Story. I might end up doing it this way. After all, I could spend some time tomorrow or this weekend working on the setup for this Short Story.

I haven’t decided what I will do yet. On one hand, I want to start working on this Short Story and finish it over the weekend, but on the other hand, I want to get back to my Water Wars scriptwriting project as soon as I can. Why can’t I do both? That’s what I really want to do.

I’m going to do what I usually do in situations like this. I will sleep on it tonight and decide what to do tomorrow. It could go either way, but I’m leaning toward my Water Wars scriptwriting project. After all, I still have a lot of setting up to do on that project.
