There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories.

Finished, But Not Finished
Finished, But Not Finished

My brother and I had a lot to do today, after all, and it took us longer to do them. As a result, I barely got the last four Sections/Parts written today to finish writing my second Short Story for this month. Unfortunately, that’s all that I accomplished today with this Short Story.

I still have a lot that I still need to do on this Short Story before I create it and post it to this contest. First of all, I need to make sure my word count is under two thousand words. It should be, but I won’t know for sure until I add up the second half of this Short Story.

The first half is a little under one thousand words, and it looks like the second half will be right at a thousand words. If that’s true, this Short Story will be slightly under two thousand words. I won’t need to do any rewriting if that’s true, and I think that it is.

I also need to place the Parts/Sections Indicators between these Sections/Parts. After I do that, then I can do a final Word Count to verify that this Short Story is the number of words I thought it was before these Parts/Sections Indicators were placed in between them.

Only after that can I create this Short Story and post it to this contest. I know that I have almost three weeks before the end of this month. So, I could do a Shameless Plug Page and a Please Review Page, but I can’t do them because I have reached my limits with the Please Review Page.

I would have to take out one of my short stories from my Shameless Plug Page and my Please Review Page in order to Page this Short Story, and I don’t want to do that, especially considering I had so much trouble doing it a couple of months ago for my WDC Short Story.

Besides, this Short Story isn’t a WDC Short Story. It can be posted right away to this contest. After all, there is only one just for this contest, and it could take another six months before they review it. Besides, it doesn’t matter how good it is, I’m not going to win this contest. I never do.

That’s not why I write these second short stories. Of course, I would like to win these contests every so often, but like the WDC Short Story Contest, I know that I won’t. I write it like I do for the WDC Short Story Contest; I write it for the challenge of the Prompt.

Especially when it’s for a so-called Science Fiction Short Story, it’s a challenge when it’s not for a so-called Science Fiction Short Story, but not as much of one as it is for a so-called Science Fiction Short Story. I like to prove that I can live up to any Prompt challenge.

I know that my brother and I have at least one thing that we need to do tomorrow, but we should have that done soon after noon. If that’s true, I shouldn’t have any problems creating and posting this Short Story tomorrow. Even if it’s more than just this one thing, I should have time to do it.
