4. Mythkeeper Mike

Sandra sent her to find someone named Mike Travis a conspiracy YouTuber with a channel called TruthFlare. He lived off grid in a retrofitted bus, parked on the edge of the canyon.

Mike turned out to be in his early 30s, bearded, wearing a NASA hoodie and crocs. He greeted her with, “You saw it too, didn’t you?”

Turns out, Mike wasn’t crazy. He was a mythkeeper, one of the last people in the world who knew how the ancient connections between dragons and humans actually worked.

He handed her a carved stone and said, “This unlocks the bridge between worlds. You’ve got to choose if you’ll light it up… or watch it all burn.”
