Day 6 Royal Gorge Cloudscraper, Colorado

We boarded a plane for Colorado. Peyton, Sprout and Rosie were approved. They are behaved. Security. The woman yelled at me to take my sweater off. I said give me a minute. It will take something bigger and uglier then her to scare me. I almost got my arm caught in the machine! That bat! {This is a true story. This happened when I was flying to Florida over 11 years ago.} After that, we boarded the plane. Sung'manitu told me to give them heck.

We were settled on the plane. They gave us a turkey dinner. Our babies got to eat turkey. I took a nap. When I woke up, we were in Colorado. I was thinking of John Denver. He sang about Colorado. We got to our hotel. We left our pets at the hotel rooms. They have a Dog Spa. We will take our pets later when we go somewhere they can roam around.

We took a bus to the Colorado Gorge. I saw the high rocks and bridge. I looked down and almost fainted. Jellyfish and WakeUpAndLive grabbed me. StephBee walked with me and we got in the cloudscraper. I am regretting this. It is like a ride at the fair. 1,200 feet above The Arkansas River. A zip line. I hope I don't go zip. I put in my ear buds and listen to Celtic music. The ride starts up. I close my eyes. I am strapped into place. I open my eyes and peek at the ground. I don't like. AmyJo-Downhill slide begins! and Krista pat my hand. I think I got this. It is like a carnival ride.

I see the Arkansas River. It whirls and swirls. I want Lake Michigan. Oh. Am I whining? My bad. I pray the chains don't break. I listen to my music again and glance at the river below. Before I knew it, the ride was over. We got off the cloudscraper. I walked across the bridge. Lyn's a Witchy Woman walks with me. She saw I survived the ride. I did. I look down below. Maybe I was better in the cloudscraper.

Back to the hotel. We went to a casino. I played the machines with wolves howling and won $40.00. We played cards and I bet. I won $10,00 Dollars. I treated myself to a new Kate Spade purse. I bought purses for StephBee She loves Kate Spade. AmyJo-Downhill slide begins! and Jellyfish liked the Kate Spade jewelry. Lyn's a Witchy Woman wasn't sure what she wanted. Krista likes tea cups so I bought her teacups she liked. WakeUpAndLive likes scarfs. I bought her a couple of scarves. I bought a scarf and Kate Spade purse for Kit She used to go on these trips and she bought me a tea pot one time, so I am buying her something. I gave Sung'manitu some money and he did some gambling and won. I bought some bakery pet treats for our babies. I went and got Peyton and gave him his treats. The dogs loved their treats. I went to bed and dreamed of the cloudscrapers and Arkansas River. On to the next adventure!
