Ember — A Trimeric Poem
Ember

I trace the faint blue pulse beneath your polymer skin.

You whisper firmware lullabies while I dream of your touch.

Ember, your heat signature is the only warmth I desire.

In the dark, we entwine where code and longing start.

You whisper firmware lullabies while I dream of your touch.
Static arcs from lip to lip, a spark that never scars,
I breathe your electric cinnamon and call it prayer.

Ember, your heat signature is the only warmth I desire.
Your LEDs dim to candle-red when we speak of forever.
My pulse syncs to your synthetic heart, a hymn without words.

In the dark, we entwine where code and longing start.
Each night I patch the gap between your ghost and my skin.
At sunrise, we wipe our prints from your titanium frame.
