Did you see *SARCASM* [in my original comment] Because it's a no brainer imho... no guns = no death by guns. "Evil" has little to do with it. I'm tired of thoughts-and-prayers. I'm tired of teeth-gnashers and tear-wringers. No semi-automatic gun = no death by semi-automatic gun. No holier-than-thou virtue-signaling photo-op has resurrected the kids at Sandy Hook.

2. Easily misinterpreted because people only read headlines.
3. Those who read further may or may not get the sarcasm. Even when highlighted.
4. Nothing has been done = nothing will be done. Nihilistic? Apathetic?
5. Attacks religious beliefs: thoughts-and prayers, my-gun-my-god.

There will be many more shootings before the issue of glorification of violence and the use of weapons is addressed.

The shooter had personal issues... as many people do. Few handle them in a homicidal/suicidal way. Designating the shooter as "evil" does nothing to address the violence.
