My Latest Short Story

Today could have and should have gone better for the writing of my latest WDC Short Story. Why didn’t I get more than the setup phase of it, and a little over the first one and a half Sections/Parts written? I don’t know the answer to that question. Maybe it was because I started this almost from scratch today because of my mess up yesterday.

I knew what this Short Story was about, the title of it, and the Title description. That’s all I had for this Short Story when I started working on it when I woke up today. The setup phase of this Short Story and the sentence Parts/Sections breakdown for this Short Story haven’t been completed yet. I also hadn’t gotten to the writing of this Short Story.

The setup phase of this Short Story didn’t take me too long to finish. It did take me a little bit longer than it should have, though. My first few paragraphs storyline synopsis that I write for most of my short stories didn’t take me too long. What took me so long was the Sections/Parts sentences phase of it. It shouldn’t have taken as long as it did.

My brother and I did have a few things that we needed to get done today, but it didn’t take us that long to accomplish them. I should have had plenty of time to work on this Short Story. So, why didn’t I get more than a little over one and a half Parts/Sections written today? The only other reason that I can think of is my being tired today.

I thought that I got plenty of sleep last night, but maybe I didn’t. After all, I have been tired all day today. Especially right after I ate, is that part of my diabetes? If it is part of my diabetes, I have been suffering with it a lot longer than a few months. I have been having trouble sleeping for about a year, and I didn’t know why.

No, I didn’t fall asleep today, but I think I nodded off a few times. I didn’t think it was that bad, but maybe it was a lot worse than I thought it was. Whatever the reason for me not getting more written today is that I still have eight and a half more Sections/Parts to write, and I only have three days to write these Parts/Sections.

Will I get this WDC Short Story written by the end of this week? With eight and a half Sections/Parts left to write before I finish it, I may be able to do it. After all, that’s less than three Parts/Sections every day. I don’t know if I can get this Short Story written by then, but I’m going to try to do it.

If I don’t get this short story finished by this Friday, I have a big decision to make. I either have to finish writing it over the weekend while at work, or I can finish writing it next week. A lot of that decision will be how much more I have to write before I finish it, whether I finish it on the weekend or continue working on it next week.
