Underneath The Tree By Kelly Clarkson

What do we put under the tree besides Christmas presents? I put a wooden nutcracker, stuffed teddy bear, nativity scene, stuffed polar bear and my musical dancing bear family. My other put an ice skating rink made of ceramic with skaters underneath a tree. She would put a train underneath the tree that ran on a track.

Gifts. It is nice to put gifts underneath the tree. My cat likes to lay underneath the tree. I sometimes would find her milk ring {she plays with milk rings off the plastic milk containers} underneath the tree. She does enjoy herself.

When you are a kid, you look under the tree and see how many gifts are there and you check everyday to see if new ones were added and you would get all excited. Chances are, it was an extra one for me.

I like this song by Kelly. She has a beautiful voice and it makes you miss past Christmases you had and you hope for better things for next year. I know I do.

Presence instead of presents. I wish my mother was here this Christmas but she died back in February. My son lives in Oregon and I miss him. Having your true love with you is a plus. I have been married a long time and we have never spent a Christmas apart. Twenty-five years ago, our house burned down. It was rough and we realized that Christmas was about surviving and having family and friends around.
