the second category. My parents were extremely protective and with the result my siblings and I grew up without understanding the kind of freedom our classmates used to enjoy. I mean, they walked on the roads without escort or speak with others without fear or hesitation. They were quite open in their expression as well.

Fear! That is the key word as far as I was concerned. Always thinking twice before speaking and just keep quiet most often. I now wonder why I was silent in the class despite knowing the answers. I couldn’t voice my doubts as well as I would have liked.

Like any other child friendship bonds developed quite naturally and rapidly. There was no such thing as bullying or dominance of
