I survived Math classes successfully till I finished with school. The Schooling system in India consists of primary school, middle school and high school. After that we go to college to complete Intermediate and Bachelor Degree courses. Later comes University for Masters classes and PhD courses. This is the hierarchy in our educational system throughout my country, India. (Bharat)

After class twelve, my high school got over and the plans to join college emerged. I was happy to have left Math behind and looked forward to choose subjects more appealing to me. One of the optional subjects was English Language and Literature and the one class I always looked forward to.

Our teachers were impressive with their teaching and we, I and my classmates about fifteen of them, who chose the same subject were happy. College was real fun. There were a number of extracurricular activities as well. We used to have celebrity lectures in the impressive central hall, which was called the Durbar Hall.

The fact is our college is entitled University College for
