The nice Thai lady did offer to cook me something but who wants their evening meal at three in the afternoon? I ordered in fish and chips instead at a more reasonable seven in the evening.

I've got some Jersey Royals to use up so I am going to attempt a salad for lunch. Somewhere buried in the freezer is ackee and saltfish - a ready meal but interesting. If I can find it that will be my evening meal. Not sure who my evening carer will be (or what time they will turn up) so I am not relying on their help.

I've still got stuff I bought for Christmas in my freezer. I'm hoping my daughter is well enough to come round tomorrow so we can sort some of it out and do some cooking. I know I have scallops and clams. Maybe I can make some kind of chowder.
