Isabel is gone, but effects linger

The storm has ended but there are still many people without power in our region. We got power back late morning on Sunday, but a few blocks away, the homes are still powerless unless they have generators.

Schools are closed again today, and there are still too many intersections without working traffic control signals.

Each day we see improvement, however, and the city, state and federal people are really working hard to get everything back to normal. Insurance appraisers are definitely putting in long days.
