Current Music: Love You Madly - Cake

Sometimes I just really hate working at Peebles. I hate the people, the work, the customers. The other day I felt like crap and I was on call. I came in but didn't realize how bad I felt until I started coughing, blowing my nose, feeling dizzy, etc. So, at 2 I called for Daphne and asked her if I could leave because I wasn't feeling well. She heaved a huge sigh and said, "Hilary . . . ." (all exasperated) and then, "Fine! Leave!" Hung up and that was that. Fine, be a bitch. So, I left and came home and crashed on the couch. Damn "non-drowsy" medicine. Never again. I hate feeling like that.

Oh yes, and I had an interview for Borders a couple weeks ago. And yes, I believe I charmed JoAnn - yes her name is JoAnn. God, it could be hell. Why doesn't Daphne's name just haunt me, too!? The only manager I hate at Peebles, Jo, is following me to another job...that is if I get the job.

Plus, I'm really missing Shane right now. I just want to be in his arms, him holding me and kissing me. I miss his lips. *sigh* I hope there's no class tonight. I really want to see him before I leave for Minnesota...
