A collection of poetry by M Farrell |
| I think I hear a whisper but I know it isn’t you I’ve given up hoping that wish will come true The wish that you were hear, my love the wish that you knew of your son He will be born soon his life truly begun without his father whom he may never know But I understand that you had to go I will not raise him with strife for your name I’ll teach him to love you as I do the same I’ll teach him how great a man you were And your daughter too I know that you loved her They will always know the great man that you are Though you may never see them you’ll be in their hearts I hope that someday you’ll know of your son You’ll know of the knew life that’s just begun |
