Mr.Wolf and the Gang

They both stopped short as the howl was heard in the
distance. If they were to make it to the Stone of
Colors they needed to get away from the wolves.

The Stone of Colors was the only way into the
Magical Kingdom. Once there, they needed to find the
Palace of the Faeries. The book belonged to them.

"You stay here." Spoke Mr.Owl in a hushed tone " I'll
fly overhead and search their whereabouts"

"Be careful, Mr.Owl" said Mr. Goat hiding behind two
great boulders by the trail. His heart was racing from
the run, but also from the fear he had logged in his
throat. He had heard many stories about the magical
powers the forest posessed and it's inhabitats.

"Oh, Lord. Please, let us find the rock." Whirling
as he heard a twig snap just behing him, the goat
looked around eyes wide with terror. "Who's there?"

Only the song of the cricket could be heard.Just
then Mr.Owl reached him.

"Mr.Goat!" He screeched

"Ahh!" Jumping in surprise "What! Don't startled me!"

"We must hurry! The Wolves are not too far. The Rock
is just over that hill we can make it!" The owl was
just going to take off when his eyes opened bigger
than any Mr.Goat had ever seen. "Mr.Goat, run. Don't
turn. Just RUUUN!" He screamed flapping high in to
the night sky.

As fast as his legs would allow him the goat sped
away dodging low branches and jumping tree roots. He
felt the wolve's hot breath on his hinder legs and
kicked hurting the wolf on his snout.

"I'll get you for that!" growled Mr. Wolf

"Not in this lifetime!" Yelled back the goat

"To the right, Mr.Goat! Get ready to say the words!"

Mr.Goat turned to see surprise register into the
wolf's eyes, still nearly snapping his jaws.

Mr.Goat saw the rock. The colors swirling in the
foggy mist. The moon shining on the flourescence that
radiated from it. The goat started reciting the words
as he tripped and went flying through the air his
eyes looking straight into the oncoming rock.

"A drop of rain, a sliver of blue,
a twist of green, a hint of yew,
the Faerie of The Woods I'm calling to,
The Magical Book I bring to you!"

Hoofs flying overhead ,Mr.Goat was swept through the
air by powerful force. Next to him he saw the
Wolf squirming, trying to fight the strong magnetic
pull. Ahead of him; beak over tail, he saw and heard
Mr. Owl hooting with laughter. His featjers floating
all around them.

"HA,Ha,Ha, My friends! Prepare yourselves for the
ride of your lives. Whoopeee!"

Mr.Goat spiralled out of control into a swirl of
blinding color unlike he ever imagined. He felt his
head spin over until he finally succumbed to the dark.
