My Favorites and Fans

Favorites are like bookmarks—they let you privately save items and members you want to come back to later.

If you want to show public support instead, you can turn a Favorite into a Fan. Fans are visible to others and appear on your Fans Tab.

How It Works

Use the Heart Menu
When viewing an item or member, click the heart icon near the top of the page. This opens a small menu where you can choose what you want to do.

From this menu, you can:

• save it as a Favorite , which is private and only visible to you
• choose Upgrade to Fan , which is public
• Remove it from your list
• jump directly to My Favorites

Quick Tip

Favorites are private.
Fans are public.

Finding Your Favorites

You can access your Favorites:
• From any heart dropdown → My Favorites
• From the My Account menu → My Favorites

By default, everything is saved to your Main folder and sorted by most recently updated.

Organizing Your Favorites

Create Folders
You can organize Favorites into folders (for example: Blogs, Contests, Groups).

To create one:

• Scroll to the bottom of your Favorites page
• Enter a folder name
• Click Go

Move Favorites
You can move items into folders:

• When adding a Favorite (you’ll be prompted)
• Or later by selecting items and choosing a folder to move them into

You can move multiple items at once.

Managing Your Favorites

Delete Items
Select the items and click Delete.

Delete Folders
Folders must be empty before they can be removed.

Extra Features

Your Favorites page also includes tools to help you keep up with activity:

• Recent – See your latest updates at a glance
• ABC - Alphabetical order
• Favorite Authors – Quick access to saved members
• Items By Favorite Authors – Browse their work
• Daily Update – View recent activity over the past few days

Pop-Up Option

Upgraded members can open Favorites in a compact pop-up window instead of a full page.

This can be turned on or off in your Edit Preferences under Account Settings (see: My Account)..
