Brainstorming for NaNoWriMo
The following are random thoughts, lines removed from poems I've rewritten and other miscellaneous items that I discovered while cleaning off the hard drive of my old computer. Since I'm not sure what my NaNoWriMo novel is about I'm putting all that stuff here in case something strikes a chord before the first of October when the "October NaNoWriMo Prep Challenge [13+] begins. What I don't use for the novel I'll use in another story or poem.

Brainstorming Items

*Note* A whistle
*Noteb* A snore
*Noteg* Desperation is the father of invention
*Noteo* "I hear footsteps."
*Noter* The neighbors across the street.
*Notev* Autumnal Equinox
*Notew* Beast Soothing Music

Lines not used in poems or from uncompleted poems

To work for the Beloved
and acquire the divine virtues
that hide our souls' nakedness
in all the worlds of God.

Pleasant smiles peek from behind cash registers,
Pleasing voices greet each shopper

(Death of the Ent-wife)
She stood at the edge of the old growth forest
watching the city's slow approach.

(The Wedding)
through the limbs of stone pine trees carrying any ideas I have into...

(Sustainability)
What does sustainability mean to me?
Sustainability according to the United Nations definition is development that "meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."

Other Stuff
(I think this is from a class I took at one time)

*Note* I drove into a gas station the other day and got goose pumps from the price of gas.
*Noteb* Congratulations! You just won the $1,000,000 lottery. Unfortunately so did 999,999 other people.
*Noter* Go ahead and honk! I've got all day to sit at this stop sign.
*Noteo* juicy red fruit
*Noteg* His icy silence froze my response.
*Notev* Her sinuses felt like a gutter clogged with dead leaves.
*Notew* Don't worry we're safe. Lighting never strikes twice in the same place.
*Note* I was washing dishes the old fashion way and put the cloth I used to wash the dishes in the freezer. What time is crying time?
