Personal Lowlight and Highlight Of 2013

Prompt: What was your personal highlight and lowlight of 2013?

Having two hernias and three bowel obstructions in one complicated surgery and being on a breathing tube for a week and heavy sedated. When I woke up, I had to learn to walk again and how to dress myself again. I was on a Wound Vac for six weeks but I did it. I never want to go through it again and I hope no one has to go through this. It is rough. I get cold easily since this ordeal but I thank God every day that I survived.

Highlight. Christmas was nice. I had family and friends who were there for me. My husband is the best. I am still writing, reading and hopefully scrapbooking very soon. Welcome 2014.
