What Woke Up This Morning and Why?

Prompt: Welcome To My Reality. What woke you this morning and why?

We had a blizzard over the weekend. We have wall to wall snow. About twelve inches worth. I was up at 5:00AM, fed my kitty and went to the bathroom and back to bed. At 9:00 AM, I hears a motor starting. I hear the garage door open and the hum of a machine and it isn't the car. It is my husband out blowing snow with the snow blower. It is a mess! The snow won't leave on it's own. Bless my husband's heart. He takes care of me and has always been a good handy man. I am lucky to have him, We have a nice path to drive in so we don't get stuck in the snow. I hope we have no more blizzards!
