Deceiving Children

Do you agree or disagree? What are some popular deceptions that should be told to children? Do you believe it is more traumatic being deceived as a child or more traumatic dealing with the harsh realities of the world at a young age?

We should always tell children the truth. If they are too young too know, tell them they will learn about that when they are older. If a child is adopted, he or she should be told by at least age ten. If they ask sooner, by all means tell them. The world isn't all candy and roses and a child needs to know that but don't talk to them like it is a horror show. Santa Claus. All kids believe in Santa Claus and it does hurt when you find out that he isn't real. It is fun to believe in Santa. Don't lie to children but don't gripe about everything and make the world sound like hell. It can be but children deserve to have a nice childhood. I hope this makes sense.
