|Welcome To My Reality Prompt: How do you manage stress?
I shop. Shopping makes me feel better. I relax by watching old TV Shows or scrapbook. Writing helps me handle stress. I pray. If it is a nice warm day, I go for a walk in the yard. We have two acres. I read a book that I had started. These things help. At work, I walk away from the mentally ill person and go to the Front Office to be alone. When the patient is calmer, I come back and we try again to talk. This is how I deal with stress.
