Quote About Fairies Poem
Prompt: Write a poem or short story from this quote:

The fairy poet takes a sheet

Of moonbeam, silver white.

His ink is dew from daisies sweet.

His pen is a point of light."

Joyce Kilmer

The fairy poet finally had time to write.

Spring was here and the snow was gone.

Moonbeams were shining down with glows

of silver white and she felt so content.

She wrote about her forest friends, the fox, squirrels,

raccoons, birds, her black unicorn friend Velvet.

They love to steal food out of the witch's garden

and the fairy sprinkled dust all over to keep them safe.

She used dew from daisies as ink and it

wrote so velvety smooth and the ink was clear.

Her sheet of papers she had made herself.

Flowers made her sheets smell scented.

Her friends loved the poem and she couldn't

understand what the fox was saying. She loved him anyway.

A poem she had written about her friends and their

adventures of life in the forest. It was a masterpiece.
