Shoes

Prompt: Write about a favorite pair of shoes and where they have taken you.

I have a pair of white sketchers with a strap that straps across the ankle. There are decorated tiny holes by the toes and lavender design on the toes. They have taken me to Frankenmuth, Michigan where I walked all over the big Bronners Christmas Store. They took me downtown to the shops and to eat at Zanders Restaurant where I had a great chicken dinner. They have been to Lake Michigan where my mother and I had a picnic.

I have worn these shoes to work at the mental facility where I work. These shoes have been to the county fair. I also wore them to scrapbooking classes. I wore them to my sister's when my husband and I went to Florida. They went to the zoo in Florida, the ocean, St. Augustine and more shopping stores. I don't wear these shoes anymore. I think they have earned the right to be retired. They are in my closet sleeping and sometimes my kitty rubs her whiskers on them. I love these shoes.
