I don't have a story or a poem but I saw a real brown elephant at the fairgrounds in my town and I got close enough to take a lot of pictures of one. He was beautiful. My son rode one at a circus two years in a row when he was a kid. I saw a big fake beige elephant made out of resin on the back of a truck going somewhere down the hallway and my husband wanted to buy me a special necklace for my Birthday so I picked out that looked one like the beige elephant that I saw on the back of the truck. I have a blue beanie elephant that sits my computer and a ceramic elephant outside. I have a gray stuffed elephant. I have a white elephant tea pot. Okay. So, do I appreciate elephants? Yes, I do.
