Seasons Bring Change

Summer gone, farewell
Takes its lively fun away
Green to red, orange, yellow

Leaves scatter on wind
Lost, they travel unheeded
Swirling under foot - they crunch

Days grow short and light
Bleeds away into the dark
Chill fills the air with rawness

Vibrant colours fade
As fall dies into winter
Snow coats the ground muffling leaves
