Ingratitude: Envy begets Ingratitude "Nice dress you're wearing," Joan said. Ann looked down at her her pink dress, sneered aghast at the compliment. "Are you serious!? This horrid thing was a hand-me-down; a second-hand cast off. It came from my third cousin Linda, who give it to me because she gets new dresses every year.. It's terrible, Joan, my parents say they can't afford to Buy me new clothes, but Linda's parents are as rich as mine! Admit it, Joan, you're making fun of me Because I live on the wrong side of the tracks."
