A DOLL

Sitting on the shelf, I was stuck here, for now. Once my family were gone I became still again. Just waiting, watching, and biding my time. It wouldn’t be long before someone would walk through the door again. This was my second family, but now they’re gone. And I’m back on my shelf where my little Amy had placed me.
