Prompt: "It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies but just as much to stand up to our friends."

It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up
to our enemies but just as much to stand up
to our friends. I have had friends who went
after guys I was going out with. Real nice.

We have to stand up for ourselves and sometimes
we get enemies and ask what we did to deserve that.
You go forward and tell yourselves these people
won't be in your lives forever. Thank goodness for
that. I ignored this one idiot guy in high school.

I have told people it would take something bigger
and uglier them to scare me and they backed off. As
an adult, I just see people at work and none of the
staff are my enemies. I work the midnight shift.

Like Elsa of "Frozen," let it go. That's what I do.
Works out for me. If I do have enemies, I am not
around them. Bravery? I just keep the peace and try
to be happy. I am too old to fight with anyone.
