Celebrating the two hundredth Anniversaries of The Birth of Baha'u'llah and The Bab |
Feast of Sovereignty: To the Blessed Beauty "Having created the world and all that liveth and moveth therein, He, through the direct operation of His unconstrained and sovereign Will, chose to confer upon man the unique distinction and capacity to know Him and to love Him — a capacity that must needs be regarded as the generating impulse and the primary purpose underlying the whole of creation." Bahá’u’lláh1 Flowers of humanity we gather at the table of sovereignty to celebrate the Supper of our Lord. In the background, music plays, while singers raise their voices in praise: “Yá Bahá’u’l-Abhá!” Blossoms of red, yellow, black, and white, we greet each other “Alláh-u-Abhá!” As we read the scriptures of the Blessed Beauty, candles on the table release incense. {dropnote:"Poet's Note:"}This is Poem 42 of 200 Dedicated to The Blessed Beauty.
