Blogging about all things poetry - starting with 30 days and 30 poems |
| March 19, 2018 This reflects how I am feeling... like life is slipping past and I am not doing enough. What am I even supposed to be doing? A heaviness fills me with a growing sense of dread. I can't go on as I have been, I must be doing more and it must be able to support me as I grow older. And The Days Are Not Full Enough And the days are not full enough And the nights are not full enough And life slips by like a field mouse Not shaking the grass https://allpoetry.com/And-The-Days-Are-Not-Full-Enough This is one of Ezra Pound's poems. Simple, yet so powerful. Truth and beauty. ** Image ID #1855238 Unavailable ** ![]() |
