Soul and Body
"The soul of man is the sun by which his body is illumined, and from which it draweth its sustenance, and should be so regarded."
Thankful Thursday Gratitude List
I am thankful that I received my SNAP allotment today because it will get us food and meat for a week or two, which will help.
I am thankful that my Bank of America Checking account is not overdrawn, and this is a miracle because of the financial situation we are in.
I am thankful that I called the people who have my student loan and started the process of an Income Driven Repayment plan. The paper work will arrive sometime next week.
I am thankful that I did not have to transfer any money from my savings account to my checking account in April.
I am thankful that it was cool enough today to leave the front door open. I enjoyed writing while listening to the sounds of the neighborhood and the singing of the birds.
I am thankful that I have 3,681,979 GPs in my Gift Points account. I need only 517,521 GPs to purchase a 12-month premium plus membership.
I am thankful for the blogs that have quotes from the sacred writings online, because I can read a short verse and either meditate on it or write a poem about it.
I am thankful for BahaiTeachings.org3, because I can find articles there that give me a deeper understanding of the Baha'i Faith and the sacred writings.
I am thankful for e*lix*ir journal4, because I can find spiritual poetry and inspiring articles about art.
I am thankful for chocolate because it tastes good and helps me sleep.
