Here is my work for my new online course.
|We are at the last Module, and I want to thank you for taking this journey with me. It's been wonderful to spend this time with you.
For our last lesson we will be discussing the ending of your book. For most books there is a last chapter that sums up everything in the book-an author's note, an epilogue or anything you wish to call it. You have learned that non-fiction books impart information. In your epilogue you want to give your last thoughts and some additional information that will compliment your topic. This is your chance to give the reader more personal information about the journey you went on when writing your book or about your topic in general. Here is your chance to give links and sources that your reader can use to gain more insight into your topic.
Ideally you should summarize the information that has been your book. This chapter is generally short. Summarize the main points that you have to cover. Remember, your reader has already read your book. All they need now is to have the main points brought home to them, so they will keep those in their minds.
Like I did at the beginning of this module, thank your reader for reading your book. Let your reader know you appreciate them and their attention to your topic.
There it is, a non-fiction book from start to finish. I hope this course has been helpful and given you the knowledge and tools to successfully write your book.
