Hello WDC family,

So today was an interesting day. My mom found a poem I wrote in first grade, pretty awesome . Also, I got to show my mom how to use writing.com. She likes to write, but she has never shown anyone any of her writing. She thinks I'm some kind of poetry guru (definitely not lol), but mom's always think their children are the best! So she got her first poem up today, please, if you can stop by her port, welcome her or look at her poem and let her know what you think at Michele Albrecht , I'm sure she would love a warm welcome.

In other news, I did some shopping today for fall decor. I say, it's not too early to start decorating for the fall and I'm really excited. The first item I found today was a fall salt and pepper shaker for the dining room table and it's super duper cute, the salt and pepper shaker are pumpkins. I need to find a centerpiece but didn't see one I liked today. I also love doing crafts so I'm going to make some items too, maybe a wreath and some coasters or something, we'll see.

I was shopping with my mom today and one of the places we stopped, we heard barking in the parking lot and it was very hot outside. We were both worried, so we had to look around and make sure no one left their dog in the car, I don't know why some people do that, it's terrible to leave your animal in a hot car, it could kill them. I'm glad to say it was just an owner waiting for his wife with the dog in the car, keeping his dog company with the windows open. My mother and I went back to our day and I even found a doggy stuffed animal for Josie since she loves doggies too.
