I Came To Nevada (Mom's own words)

I came to Nevada in July of 1972. In 1973, I was sent to the Showboat Hotel by the Culinary Union. I went to work as a waitress on March 26, 1973 in the Coffee Shop.

I worked as a waitress until 1999. Than I transferred to a Bus person in the Coffee Shop.

In 2001 I transferred to the Employees Dining Room. Where I worked as a bus person until the Castaways (Name of the Showboat after it was sold) closed January 29, 2004.
