Las Vegas Gale

As I drive home,
down Boulder Highway,
the wind
bullies my car:
beats against it,
shoves it,
attempts to push it
into traffic
in the next lane.

Imitating
the Santa Anas,
this Las Vegas gale
harasses me
after I get out of my car:
its gusts
molest my hair,
puts hands up my skirt,
or down my blouse,
and attempts to undress me
as I fight my way into the house.
