~ A Ferris Wheel and Me ~
🌓 HuntersMoon successfully goaded me (a non-poet) into entering Lilli ☕'s contest:

A poem about a ferris wheel,
What is the big deal?

For folks who like to wax poetic
These lines would be an easy trick.

For folks like me
It will not be.

A Ferris Wheel and Me...

My last ride on a ferris wheel,
Caused my head to reel.

The ride did not stop soon enough
And I was feeling pretty rough.

Coming off that final ride,
My distress I did not hide.

I probably looked a bit like a clown
As I tried to find a place to sit down.

As my head spun round and round,
I thought I would puke on the ground.

Just one time of feeling that way
Has kept me off the wheel to this very day.

Written for "Pop-Poetry Contest
