Sunday Morning

Six A.M. chill
carried on the sea mist,
drenched divulgation,
dampening my waking will
to get up and tame my artist.

So much to write, so much to do,
but the comfort of our bed
pulls me back under
our cozy quilt to you
and dreams instead.
