Mail Order Pharmacy

Even before COVID-19
I received my prescriptions by mail:
a 90-day supply--
of each medication--
delivered diligently
by a postal service employee.

I used to go
to a brick-and-mortar pharmacy,
but than the car died,
gave up the ghost,
refused to start,
and couldn't be cheaply
or easily repaired.

That was boring and tedious,
many times
waiting in line
for the pharmacist.

Now I look forward
to receiving the package
through the mail,
and joyfully opening it.
