The Dimension of Dreams
Inspiration: The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali  

It is the persistence of memory
that echoes through our dreams,
that rises--
heat waves from the desert of our desires--
to carry our souls
beyond the limits of time and space
into the dimension of dreams.

In the dimension of dreams
we travel into the past,
the present,
and the future
in an attempt to resolve
the dilemma
of our duality.

In the dimension of dream,
the soul,
partnered with the body on the physical plane,
is free
in the dream world
to explore its immortality,
before death's sword
severs soul from body.
