An ongoing collection of writings about important (IMO, anyway) issues.

The year was 1965, and my folks were both able to get 4 weeks of vacation together at the same time, and we were going to be doing something different with it.
Instead of taking a road-trip, we were going to be flying with one week spent in San Francisco with Uncle Finley and Aunt Marce; two weeks spent in Hawaii; and one more week spent in San Francisco before returning home again.
Quite a bit happened over those four weeks -- and on beyond that (plus a little bit before as well, as a lot of great things took place in 1965).
In fact, more than 55 years later, I still relive the memories.
I'm writing about one of the songs from that time in this blog-entry:
"Hawaiian Wedding Song (1965) Don Ho"
However, this isn't the only song that I associate with that time.
I'm going to keep adding to this entry until 60 years from New Year's Day 1966.
