I've just set up a place to share my 1968 memories:
Most of the memories of that year were pleasant ones for my folks and me. As I begin to add to the year, you'll find my memories to be lighthearted and fluffy. I showed, for instance, how I could totally lose my head over a couple of cute teachers (one during the first part of the year and another during the last part of the year). Both of those teachers passed away last year. It was a year of history and when one of the words I was known for using-to-the-nth-degree even more than I do "cute" was "quaint." My cousin, Carolyn, got married on June 6, and my folks and I left later that night to start our vacation to the East Coast where the first thing we did (after getting some rest) was to get in place in line to wait for the funeral procession for Bobby Kennedy to go past us in Arlington Cemetery.
