I'm not much of a writer anymore, but here we go with a journal.

I think I have covid.
Kid B and I have had a symptom for the past few days. We won't talk about the symptom, because even mentioning it is pretty much the definition of TMI. But now I'm also feeling chills and a sore throat. I haven't been sick in years, literally, and in the past 25 or so have only had a few colds. But all that immuno-goodness doesn't do much against this.

Kid B probably picked it up at work and brought it home. They're "essential workers" in a noisy environment, so they can't wear masks when they've got anything to say to each other. Plus no health insurance or sick pay, so people have every incentive to keep going to work even if they're sick.

Now I wish I hadn't gone to the grocery store this morning. It wasn't crowded and everyone was wearing masks, but it was also during the senior hour, so I really really hope I didn't infect anybody.
