Season of Peace, Forever

These earthly days are full of change
with selfishness galore.
At Christmas time we rearrange,
and place Mankind before.

It is for this if n'other cause
my heart lives home right here.
These Christmas days give me the pause
I need, my thoughts to clear.

I wonder much if the Heavenly Home
will live at Christmas e'er,
or if another peaceful sum
will be my Joy o'er there.

Methinks, that Jesus Christ is all
the Peace I'll ever need.
Eternally in Joy we'll call
to Him, Whose wounds will plead.

Eternity is just One Day,
and Christ is just One Lord.
We'll know Him and forever stay
in the Joy of His Great Word.
