Revelation 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and last. Have you ever given thought that a time will come, when we no longer live on this earth? We will either die, or Jesus will return. That makes me think of the meaning of eternal life. Just like God is the beginning, Alpha, and one day there will be an end due to the coming of Jesus Christ. He will return and take His children home. If we have accepted Jesus into our hearts, our eternal life will be in heaven. If we have chose not to follow Jesus, our eternal life will be spent in hell's eternal fire. The beginning and the end, the Alpha and Omega, now that is a very powerful message. In the beginning there was God, and in the end God will be there. God and His only Son Jesus Christ, The Great I Am. Have you given thought of where your eternal home will be? Will it be in heaven with Jesus? Or will Satan be waiting to claim your soul? The choice is ours to make, to decide which path we will take. No one else but us can make that choice, either we accept Jesus or we reject Him. In eternity we will have to live with the personal decision we have made. The Beginning And The End Father, help us to live our life for You Let us tell others of Jesus' love in all we do Let us live our life in a way that You approve So that in our life the Holy Spirit can move Let us live our life for You, in case we die today We want to go to heaven, with You to stay The Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end Let us come to You Dear Father, our Best Friend Let our hearts be pure, in case Jesus quickly returns Let us accept Jesus, so that in hell our souls won't burn God almighty is amazing, and full of power In the end when He comes, no one knows the hour God will one day call us home Everything in this world will be gone Let us keep close to Jesus, all of our days To walk close to Him, and live in His ways Jesus is coming soon, will you be ready? To Jesus will you be holding steady? |
2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Our family took a trip to Alabama this past weekend. On the way back there was a real bad wreck in Chattanooga. Traffic was backed up for hours. An RV had hit a tractor trailor and exploded. Eleven people were involved, with one being killed. I begin to get really nervous people were crossing over all three lanes. All traffic was directed off the interstate, where we had to go ten country miles to get back to I-75 North. It was pouring the rain, people would cut you off even if there was only two inches between you and the car in front of you. We finally got back on I-75 North bound, needless to say we traveled twelve miles and came across another wreck. By this time I was ready to get off and get a hotel. It was still pouring the rain, and my nerves were shot. Then as we got on down the road, I begin to pray. I ask God to help relieve my fears, because there was no need to be afraid. God is our pilot and is with us no matter where we go. No matter what happens He will see us through it. I begin to calm down and enjoyed the beautiful scenery created by God in heaven. God is my pilot and in charge of all plans. I will cast my fears to Him. Jesus said,"I am with you always. Don't Fear What To Do Never fear what to do Jesus will always guide you Never fear what you need to do, God already knows the plan So never fear what to do, Jesus is always holding your hand Upon the mountain your footsteps have been paved The road you are to follow, the foundation has been laid Down in the valley, Jesus' love still appears So of tomorrow, we should have no fears Down from the hills, to the roaring sea In Jesus' arms that is where I want to be Don't fear what to do, Jesus has all the power And knows what our mission is, and will lead us there Don't fear what to do anymore, Jesus knows where we are going, and where we have been He will take care of us no matter what, and let us know how our life should be spent |
Psalm 57:1-2 1Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. 2I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me. In life we experience many storms and trials. Just like last night we had a tornado warning for our area. Winds 70 miles per hour. The hail was golf ball size, and we are told to seek shelter immediately. During these type of storms, this is when you run to God for protection. No matter how strong the storm, God will protect us no matter what. He will stretch out His arms and protect us. He will give us comfort until the storm passes. In Him we find comfort, when we can find it no where else. Jesus Christ faced many storms in His life, He knows what we face daily. God will help us weather every storm that we come across. He will hear our cry and extend His mercy upon us. God is the best shelter through every storm in life. Just when everything seems lost, God will give us strength to face what is ahead. He will never abandon us, He will show us the next step we are to take. A funnel cloud was spotted, but the storm passed over our area quickly. The damage was light, God is more powerful that any storm. He cradles us in His arms and gave us protection from the storm. Let us pray for the victims that received the devastating storms that claimed their homes, and the lives of loved ones. We need to pray for them, that God will help them to pick up the pieces and start again. Through the storms in our life, God helps to give us strength and helps us become the person He needs us to be. No matter what we may face, God will be by our side every minute of the day and night. Jesus will shine brightly when the darkness tries to over take us. Father, we tremble when the storm appears We go to You in prayer and fear disappears When darkness and thunder destroy all calm You comfort us and place us in Your palm When the thunder rolls, and the ground shakes You give us peace, when no more can we take Thank You Father, for seeing us through every storm Your touch of love and mercy will always keep us warm Your power we truly see, when the storm passes by To thank You for all that we have received we can only try Thank You for Jesus Christ, for dying for our sins You gave Your only Son, to cleanse us within |
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Many things can and will go wrong in this life. We will struggle with trials and troubles. We will experience death of losing loved ones. I love this verse because it gives us the assurance that Jesus will be with us no matter what we may face. No problem is bigger than the power of Jesus. When we experience sorrow, grief, or a broken heart. Jesus can give us peace, so let not our hearts be troubled. If your life feels like it is broken, Jesus can mend it. If you have lost loved ones, Jesus will be your Comforter. He will give us peace, and hold us in His arms. Jesus has overcome the world, there is no problem that He can not handle. If your life seems like it is spiraling out of control, give it to Jesus. He will give you peace, and carry the burdens that weigh us down. No matter what you may be going through, Jesus loves you and knows your heart. He will hold us in His arms, and wipe our tears. He will give us the inner peace that we so seek. He can mend our broken heart. Let us always remember to turn to Him in our darkest hours. Let not your heart be troubled, give all your troubles to Jesus. If we are griped by fear, give it to Jesus, in its place He will put peace. I know that Jesus will give us peace He is the One that will bring sweet relief He will handle all our our fears He will be there to wipe our tears When our world seems so dark Jesus will give us light by His spark When our hearts are troubled Jesus will be there He will give us complete peace, when we feel despair No matter what we may go through Jesus is always there for me and you |
Great Blessings Deuteronomy 26:11 Rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee. Let us give praise and glory to God in heaven. Let us thank Him for all the many blessings that He has bestowed upon us. God has blessed us greatly to be able to get up this morning to see another day. Great Blessings Dear Lord, you have done so much for me I haven't done much for you as I can see You have blessed me so greatly, and asked so little in return No matter what I have needed, large or small, you have always made it your concern When it seemed that things were going so wrong Lord, you stood beside me and made me strong When I needed food, shelter, or love It was always provided from my Heavenly Father above Dear Lord, what can I do for you , let Thy will be done Let me be an obedient servant, and follow the example set by your only Son Let me do Thy will, not mine Let me follow the path you need me to find I know the road may be long, and rough at times to travel I know you will pick me up Lord, if I stumble in the gravel Lead me the way I need to go, show me what to do Let my light shine for you, so someone else can see it too Thank you for every blessing, there are so many, I could never count them all Dear Lord, you know my every need, you always catch me before I fall To you Lord I owe it all |
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 9But he said to me, (A) "My grace is sufficient for you, for(B) my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that(C) the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10(D) For the sake of Christ, then,(E) I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For(F) when I am weak, then I am strong. As I think back on the last five years, I realize just how many times God has carried me. We have lost so many family members in the last fives years, and experienced so much grief and pain. At times I have truly felt like I could not go on. I have been tired, and just so weak from sadness and the weight of the world it seems on our shoulders. But as I look back, I see that when I was ready to fall, Jesus reached out His hand. When the world beats us down with harsh words, God whispers word of love unto us. When we are weak, God sends Jesus to carry us the rest of the weary miles. When hardships come our way, God shows us what blessings He can give and provide. No matter we have faced, God's grace has been more than sufficient. He provides everything we need in detail. He sends the Holy Spirit to minister unto us, in our darkest hour. I know that no matter what we may face, God will carry us through. He has time and time again, and will do so everyday. Today I am so thankful that God made a way for us to pay our house insurance. When things seem impossible to us, God removes the mountain that is blocking our path and view. Never under estimate what God can do. When He sends blessings our way, let us share it with the world. Father, Thank You for being there during all the changes in our life Thank You for sending comfort to us, through You Son Jesus Christ Father, when we are sad, and feeling so drained and weak You send the Holy Spirit, with words of comfort to speak Thank You for sending Jesus to save our soul Through His precious blood, we are made whole Father, when the world turns it back on us In You we can always place our trust You are there in our darkest hour To remove all obstacles You have the power Father, Your grace has always been sufficient in our time of need You are wonderful, merciful, and full of love indeed |
Isaiah 30:21 21And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. In this life we have times that we get lost. We don't know which direction to take, and sit at the fork in the road. When we approach a cross road in life, we need to consult God on our direction to take. Just like when traveling at night, if we take the wrong road, and are unfamiliar with the area we will get lost. I hate traveling over the mountains when it is foggy, you can't see anything. You are trying to navigate, feeling like you are blind. God still gives direction for our lives, in this day and time. He speaks to us, but sometimes we ignore Him. The next time He speaks, it is a little harder to hear Him. When we disobey God's direction for our life, we tend to tune His voice out. He has plans for our direction in life, we just have to ask which way we are to go. After God has made it clear where we need to be, we need to follow that direction. Not stray from the path that He has given us to follow. If we lose our way and drift off course, God can give us directions back to where we need to be. Let us listen closely and we will hear God's reassuring voice. Father, sometimes the way is so dark It is always lite by Your great spark Sometimes we are blinded, and can not see The direction that You have planned for me Father, lead us in the direction we are to go Our path to follow today, only You can know When we drift away from where we need to be Give us directions so that we can always see Father, I know that we stray far away from Your will Father, direct our path in the valley and on the hill Let us get our directions in life from You To strive to follow Your plans in all that we do |
Mark 5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of they plague. I love this story, this woman grabbed Jesus' rob out of faith. She knew if she could just touch His clothes, that she would be healed of her blood disorder. Once she touched His robe, she knew that she had been healed. Jesus knew that she had touched His garments, then He asked the Disciples who touched me? Because of her faith Jesus told her that her faith had healed her. Many times we worry about things, and experience tragedy in our life that makes our faith small. If we reach out in faith to God, everything will be alright. If we truly believe that He can take our worst moments in life, and completely turn them around He will. By reaching out in faith God can heal our bodies spiritually and physically. So if we have a problem let us reach out in faith and tell God what we need. Believing that He can and will make us whole again. Lord I Reach Out In Faith Father, I call on You to help me today To take all my feelings of dread away To not fear what today may bring Give me a song that my heart can sing Let me come to You knowing that I will be healed Because my soul by You has been sealed I will walk by faith, knowing You can do all things Always depending on Your love and the joy it brings Father, by faith I will let You guide my life To protect me from the evil and Satan' strife I will trust and believe that You will make me whole Because You are the keeper of my soul No matter what tomorrow may bring, I will trust in You By faith You will always show me what I am to do |
1 Peter 1:7 (King James Version) 7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ Some days it seems that the world is caving in on us. So many events have taken place in the last six years. We no sooner get over one trial, and then another arrives, to take the place, of the one that we just faced. One thing that I know for sure is that God has carried us through every trial and tragedy that we have ever faced. He has been there in the good times and bad. Jesus has never left our side. There have been seasons of peace in our life, God gives a chance to enjoy the sunshine. During our times of quiet, we get comfortable and forget about all that has taken place. Just as we let out a sigh of relief, the storms of life start raging. I know that God has a reason for everything that happens. I know that He will see us through all things. We must follow His lead, and let Him guide our path all the days of our life. No matter how bad things may be, God will bring us through it all. Sometimes it will not turn out the way we want, but according to God's will. We will face many trials in our life, we must keep the faith and carry on. God will give us strength and encourage us when we are down. In the end it will all be worth what we go through. The day that Jesus welcomes us home, now what an awesome reward. One that we can only receive because Jesus Christ showed such love for all sinners. When life throws trials and troubles our way Remember we will rejoice one grand day We will face many problems as we go through life We can make it through, with our best friend Jesus Christ No matter what obstacles are thrown in our path Jesus has won the war on Satan's wrath No matter if others put us down and treat us mean Let the love of Jesus Christ in each of us always be seen Pray for one another daily, and help others in need Have them pray for you, and ask God for forgiveness indeed Carry on with the mission God has planned for You What ever problems arise, God will always see You through |
Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Let us rejoice in the love that Jesus has for us. He died on the cross so that you and I could be saved. He suffered greatly, because His love for us was so true, and still is today. Let us follow the example Jesus set for us. Let us love one another, and tell others of Jesus' love. We can find peace in the true love that Jesus has for us. Let us strive to live our lives so that it reflects that we have Jesus dwelling in our heart. True Love Let me tell you about the truest love that I have ever known By God in heaven, the truest love was shown He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sins He bestowed a love on us that has no end Jesus was beaten, tortured, and whipped The abuse continued, and of His clothes He was stripped But still the worse was yet to come Jesus said, "Father Let Thy Will Be Done" Jesus was nailed on the cross for our sins to bare What love He had for us to remain there Jesus had thorns placed upon His head as a crown He could have called a legion of angels and came down True love was what Jesus had to give He had to die, so you and I could live Jesus was placed between two thieves on the cross at Calvary One knew that Jesus was the Christ, Jesus told him, today you will be in paradise with me In His final hours, Jesus prayed, "Father forgive them, they know not what they do Now this is the truest love, that has ever been shown to me and you Praise God that on the third day That the stone was rolled away Jesus is Risen, He is Alive Everyday for Him I will strive If you don't know Jesus I pray soon you will All your wounds and hurts, Jesus can heal |
