| John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. A man was trying to gain entry into a friend's house. His friend had not been heard from in a few days, and he was worried about him. He tried the front door, no luck it was locked. He went to the back door same thing happened, it was locked. Soon he was trying all the windows, with the same result no way to enter into the friends house. There was no way to gain entry without a key. Soon the front door opened, and his friend came to the door. He had evidently thought someone was trying to break in. He had just gotten home from a trip, and was catching up on his rest. He explained to his friend that the front door was the only way in, because the back door was broken and couldn't be opened at all. Just the same way with salvation, Jesus holds the key. He is the one and only door to salvation. Either a person believes and accepts Jesus, and confesses that Jesus is God's only Son. That they believe Jesus died on the cross to save all sinners from hell. That He arose on the third day. We can't get to heaven by doing good deeds, there is no side door. There is not a back door at which we can enter, Jesus is the one and only door to salvation. We must open the doors of our heart and accept Him to enter heaven's gates one day. Jesus The Only Door Salvation Dear Father, Thank You, for providing the One and only door that provides salvation Jesus is the only way for us to be saved, and His love calls for celebration He died for our sins, and is the only way we can be saved Awesome is Your only Son, and the love that He gave The only way to receive eternal life Is through God's only Son Jesus Christ There is no back door, in which you can enter We must accept Jesus, He died for all sinners There is no side door to slip through We must accept the One, who died for me and you Jesus is the door, by which we must go Have you accepted the One who loves you so? |
| Matthew 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Have you ever experienced a time in your life, that it feels like the sun is gone? That all you see is clouds and doom and gloom? Many times we feel that way in life. That so many things go wrong and that a rainbow will never appear again. But as we all know the sun shines through and our days are filled with hope. Just like when the sun is hidden by the clouds for days, and then the sun shines so bright. Many times we feel the same way in our christian life. We feel like we are not shining for God. That we are not doing anything to bring praise and glory to His wonderful name. Others may see a glimpse of Jesus shining through us, and we only catch a little sight of that light. Let us strive daily to touch the lives of someone who is lost. Let us be kind and loving to others. To be sure and share the wonderful story of Jesus and His love for all sinners. Let us tell them that by accepting Jesus Christ, they can receive eternal life. One day we will shine bright when we meet Jesus in Heaven. Father, in You we have hope That with all things we can cope We have the faith that You will carry us In You Father we place all of our trust No matter what today may hold We leave You in charge of our soul There is no problem that You can't take of Thank You Father, for Your wonderful love Father, one day for You we will truly shine When we see Jesus, who is so divine |
| Psalm 121:7-8 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, even for evermore. Many days as I am driving down the road, I will have a talk with God. I pray for Him to keep our daughter safe at school, to keep watch over my husband, and to be my pilot where ever we may go. God hears our prayers and keeps watch over us.He protects us from evil as we go about our daily schedule. He wraps us in His arms and keeps us safe day and night. I am so glad that God never takes a vacation, He is always on call never to busy to listen to our needs. He wipes our tears and sees us safely through everyday. He keeps watch over us as we sleep, He protects us from evil. Thank You Father for all You do, Your love and care is endless. God Keeps Watch Thank You Father, for keeping watch over me No greater Proctor could there ever be You are faithful keeping watch everyday You protect us all along the way No matter where we may roam You always see us safely home You wrap us in Your arms There we are safe from all harm By Your power from evil we are preserved Father Your great love at times I don't deserve Thank You Father for loving me even when I do wrong With You Father we are never ever alone |
| Psalm 37:3-4 3.Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Many times we begin to get weighed down by doubt. There are so many things going on in our lives. It brings us down at times. That is when we must trust and obey God. To let Him guide us. To help us get through everyday problems, we need to go to God in prayer. We need to read our bible for guidence. It is like a map, it will guide us the way that God would have us to go. Trust and Obey Trust in God and obey His word Rush to tell others in cause they haven't heard Understand God's work for you Stand strong for Him in everything you do Take the time to listen to God's command And for His guidance, let Him lead you by the hand No one comes unto the Father, except through the Son Diligently pray Lord let Thy will be done Obey God's plans you always and pray Beware of your actions, of what you do and say Everyone in life I pray, will believe in God and trust and obey You must be kind to others, and close to God always stay |
| John 16:33 In the world ye shall have tribulation:but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Many times we find that our life is in desperation. We have so many things that we think we can never overcome. Many are addicted to drugs, alcohol becomes some people best friend. Sometimes grief consumes our life. Low self esteem hovers other in their life. Many times we feel so confused and lost. Our lives are in total devastation, it is filled with all types of destruction. Around every corner we find a stumbling block. If we turn to Jesus, He can remove all the mountains standing in our path. We must place our faith in Him. To allow Him to take control of all the addicting things that are trying to rule our life. He can make Satan get behind us. We can finally see the sunshine really bright, when we let Jesus be our Light. Jesus can remove our obstacles that are blinding us, if we just go to Him in prayer. Believing and knowing that He will clear the way for a better life through Him. Is your life in desperation, is all you do is cry? Sometimes do you wish, you could give up and die? Are you filled with nothing but grief? Don’t give up, Jesus can give you relief Are you low on self esteem? Believe, your soul Jesus can redeem Have drugs torn your life apart? Is alcohol the only way your day can start? Jesus can make you feel whole again No matter how much you have sinned He can make you happy and no longer cry He can make you laugh instead of sigh He can give you the strength to quit drinking, and doing drugs you won’t need them anymore You’ll have the cure for what ails you, Jesus is the weapon that can win any war Jesus will make you high on life, there is no drug as strong as Him Your outlook on life will be bright not dim If your life is nothing but a mess Go to Jesus and all your sins confess If you hit a bump in the road Give it to Jesus He will carry your load |
| Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. Have you ever heard someone get into an argument, then after it is all over one will say I will never forgive you? As Christians we must be willing to forgive others, just as Jesus has forgiven us. Forgiveness is one of the most important lessons that Jesus taught. We need to be more like Jesus Christ, in both attitude and our actions. We need to have more compassion and understanding toward others. When we forgive others, we are showing the love and forgiveness that God extends to us. By having a forgiving heart we know that God forgives us, no matter how many mistakes we make. Our Father in heaven forgives our sins. So let us always be willing to forgive, and let God’s love show in us. Always Forgive Others We need to be more like Jesus, in both attitude and actions Forgiving others and showing them love to God’s satisfaction We need to treat others with compassion Not argue and give them a tongue lashing To extend kindness and humility to all that we meet To remember to spend everyday at Jesus’ feet That He taught we are to forgive others, as we have been forgiven Let us love others unconditionally, as long as we are living To forgive others and create peace among our sisters and brothers To be considerate and always forgiving to others |
| I know in our busy lives, sometimes we forget to stop and think. There are people who are lost. They have never even heard about Jesus. It is time we get busy spreading the news of Jesus Christ. Many are waiting to hear this glorious story. As children of God we need to hit the streets, and make sure our neighbors know Jesus. Isaiah chapter 66 verse 18: For I know their works and their thoughts; the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and see My glory. Have We Forgotten? Have we forgotten, there are sheep that are still astray? Let us not forget, many have lost their way Have we forgotten, for these people we need to pray? That they accept Jesus today Have we forgotten the lost sheep? They need to be led home, even if the road is steep Have we forgotten, that we need to help the Shepherd keep watch? The Lord can bring them home, His love is top notch Let us not forget, how dark their world can be Without Jesus they cannot see Have we forgotten, those who have wondered far from the Masters care? Let us pray that they will return there Have we forgotten, how the sheep wondered far from the fold? And had went down the wrong road But Jesus lead it safely home And rejoiced because the sheep was no longer alone Have we forgotten how important each sheep is, to the Shepherd all are of great worth So even if one is missing, to find it Jesus will go forth So let us not forget, to God in Heaven every soul counts It is very important, that ever lost sheep be found |
| Psalm 34:18-19 18The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit 19Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. Today, I am thankful for the comfort that God delivers to us. When we experience problems that are beyond our comprehension . When our hearts are broken from losing a loved one. God knows what we go through, He truly knows the pain and grief that we feel. Jesus holds us in His arms and comforts us, to give us the encouragement to carry on, with the mission God has planned for our life. Many times we experience devastation in our lives, and it humbles us. In time it helps us to relate to others that are going through the same things that we have experienced. Sometimes events happen in our lives and we are never the same again. God uses different things that we go through to help us grow. Many times when a tragedy happens it draws us closer to God, right where He needs us to be. I know in the last few years losing so many loved ones, has drawn me much closer in my walk with our Father in Heaven. He is the ONE that has given me the strength to carry on. When at times I have felt so weak, and so stricken by grief. Many days it took everything that I had to get out of bed, and start the day. But life goes on, and by faith I know that each day will get better. God will give us a bright rainbow, after the storms of life have pounded us constantly. I am thankful that God is our greatest Comforter in this life. With Jesus by our side, we can carry on no matter what happens. Father, Thank You, for giving us comfort in the worst of times Your love and comfort Father, are so great and so divine Father, Thank You for sending Jesus to stand by our side When we feel like we are drowning from the tears we cried Thank You Father, for Your love and constant support That when they occur we can lay our burdens in Your port Father, there is no problem that we can not face You will carry us through with Your love and grace Thank You Father, for holding us when we weep Thank You Father, for wiping our tears so we can sleep Thank You Father, for rocking us in Your arms Thank You Father, for keeping us safe from all harm |
| Revelation 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever. Our friend that lost her husband is experiencing darkness from her grief of losing her husband. She is over whelmed by the despair that she feels. We are trying to comfort her by telling her that one grand day, darkness will fade away. That when we get to heaven the Light will forever reign. No darkness or night will ever torment us on Heaven's shores. To me the verse above, is a promise that one day we will see our loved ones, that have gone on one grand morning. It gives us the promise of Heaven, that darkness will never ever dwell in that wonderful place. So if we have lost loved ones, we will experience dark nights, our souls will grieve. Many times we will feel despair, and sometimes feel like weeping all night long, but joy will come in the morning. On the glorious day when we reach Heaven's shores. No more pain or sorrow will ever be known. If right now you are experiencing dark days and nights just remember, the day is coming when Jesus will come, and we will be in the Light for ever and ever. Dear Father, help us when we suffer from grief That the darkness overtakes us, give us relief We may suffer from weeping during the night In the morning comes joy, it will be forever Light We experience pain, grief, and despair We will never again be in darkness there We have hope of that eternal morning When Jesus Christ all will be adoring God's Light will shine forever All God's children will be together |
| Romans 10:11-13 11: For the scripture saith, WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED. 12: For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. 13:FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED. Isn't it a great feeling to know that Jesus' love is for everyone. That it doesn't just include a selected few. That His saving grace applies to everyone, everywhere. Anyone that will call upon His name and accept Jesus into their heart can be saved. All sinners can be forgiven if they believe Jesus is God's only Son sent to die for our sins. I thank God for loving us so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die for our sins, now that is TRUE LOVE. Call On The Name Of The Lord Whosoever will call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved An experience the the greatest love that Jesus gave They can experience a love like they have never known They will never again have to feel alone Jesus can save anyone who is lost Call on His name, for our salvation He paid the cost Whosoever means anyone who will Call on His name He loves you still Call on the name of Jesus, you will never be the same We are saved by His blood, when we call out His name Anyone can be saved, if they only believe Call out His name, and eternal life receive Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Have You been rescued by the Great I AM? If anyone is lost, I pray they will accept Jesus Christ today Please do not wait too long, please don't delay |
