A young girl & co strive for acceptance in a world ruled by unwritten laws of the Ancients

This is a story I've been slowly building up on since roughly 2004.
Although I've been thinking about it for a long time, I never actually got around to putting it into a book format till just recently.
This is also my first publicly released attempt at writing anything, so I would really appreciate guidance from any experience writers out there! Please don't sugar coat anything =)
