An attempt at Haiku's each day beginning 2013 |
This is a well-intentioned beginning to what I hope will be a haiku a day, or thereabouts. |
an outline of fog makes me think I'm not so close cool breeze doesn't lie |
lush, green valley dreams thin pancakes, but not tourists Solvang contradicts |
water bugs swimming clear water is inviting jump in carefully |
humid air departs painting can continue now kitchen taking shape |
The sky weeped last night a lullaby in darkness the damp smell soothes us |
fresh ocean breeze blows promise of a cooler day respite from the heat July 20, 2013 Happy birthday passed with a thought of parties past and then they were gone |
eerie glowing sun now falling ash upon us praying for raindrops |
scairdy dog Niley we don't take him to the beach except on a leash. |
long mountain shadows reaching deep into my soul calling me softly |
cloudless morning floats nothing for sunshine to pierce it will be brutal |
sultry night echoes the furnace blast of daytime fans curl the drapery |
Firefly pins of light randomly dotting hillsides these won't fit in jars |
Twenty year memories familiar faces yet not decades flying by. |
Moving down the road A car-house lesson to take At least it's sunny |
mottled grey sky hovers heavy air squeezed tiny drops into open mouths |
my brother and wife live a very happy life in a blue cottage |
clouds melting early doors open to blasts of heat skinny dipping day |
the crisp morning sky does little to forecast heat yet I know it comes |
Happy Birthday Paul I give you all my loving in seven of hearts |
tentative waking test driving the day and car will be moving on |
