Music is so powerful. It is the greatest psychological weapon of all time. During our liberation war songs motivated many soldiers. The tunes and lyrics of songs makes them sentimental. Some songs are so touching. It’s really hard to pick one. I have many favorite English songs. I like Ceylon Dion’s song . There is something different in her voice that touches my heart. Her lyrics are meaningful, soothing and inspirational. I first hear song in movie Titanic. Then in Beauty in beast. They are sad but beautiful. I like her “that’s the way it is” and “A new day has come”. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only ** |
I heard the first signs of spring this morning. It was a sparrow singing. What is the first signs of spring in your area? Have they arrived yet? In my area it is the end of spring. For the last few years the length of spring is decreased. On the other hand, the length of summer is increased. It is raining now. From my room I could hear the twigs broken against the roofs. Here spring means rich colour, cuckoos song, welcoming breeze, yellow orange marigolds, festivals, picnics, butterflies. Everything is so inspiring, promising, |
Hopefully we've a long time ahead of us but it is nice to think ahead. Contemplation is good for soul, don't you agree? What will you leave behind, what difference do you hope to make? I have read an article a few days back. It says that those who made plans five years ahead might live longer. Though, I cannot follow the planes I made many times. I have told since childhood that past is past. yes, I believe that our past is our foundation. We can learn many from past mistakes, we can learn how our ancestors cope with difficult situations. Yes, it is hard letting our past go. Even if we try hard. But holding past is not a good thing. Because we get life only once and in life we have to do many responsibilities. Future is unseen, full of mystery, uneven, full of obstacles. and our human mind often respect it. However our present is important to flow with life. so, no matter what is going on right now, we should nourishes our present to have better future. |

If you had to choose one season out of the four to live in for the rest of your life, all 365 days the same season, which one would you choose? Why? I believe all the seasons. Because each season brings different looks, different beauty and they can effects on us differently. Right now it is autumn here. From my balcony I could see the cotton like clouds ideally sweeping across the deep blue sky. The sky is crystal clear than other seasons. Sometimes it rains for a minute or two. Prompt: ice-cream, tempt, abrasive, money, baffle, straight, pancake, oppose. Once in a haunted house on center of a rural village road When I get off the bus it was night. A chilly wind passed through my hair. I could not see people nor a single street light. Suddenly, I realized that people living in such a rural area go for sleep early. Though I had an eerie sensation I kept walk through the dark. Soon I came over a big river. There was no boat on the river. It baffled me up. I could smell the smell of the rotten jute that lies on the water bed wafted through the breeze. At the distance I could see the rows pumpkin trees. As I come under the trees I could hear the rustling sound of the leaves. It was like sound of thousand rustling leaves. It was hard to describe. When the happy wind passes through them they made rather louder sound. However, I walked with a great pace. Suddenly, I saw a women hurriedly passed by me! A very tall women I guess. She was massive and so tall that her head almost touched the leaves. Hey ! stop! I asked. But without looking back she quickened her pace. Then I saw a large bat flying after her. I followed her. The wind grew cold and I had feelings as if it oppose me from going there. It was hard for me to follow her along the uphill road. Several times I stumbled over the bricks and almost fell but I kept walking until I came over a big huge gate. Then suddenly the women in black almost vanished in the air. Walking along the corridor I came to a large room. Peering through the window I saw some abrasive pancakes and ice creams pictures hang all around the wall. It was probably an ice-cream parlor before I thought. Thinking of temptation ice-cream made my stomach rumble. I feel that I am hungry. Than at the corner I saw a man standing and counting money. Hi!! “I I’m Dina.” “Can I ask you a question?” I asked He turned and looked straight at me. For a moment or two I couldn’t speak. For he was so handsome. He was tall with dark wavy hair and a pair of black eyes. |

Prompt: Here is a William Faulkner quote. “You cannot swim for new horizons until you have courage to lose sight of the shore.” What do you think he means and is what he means relatable for you?” We often overwhelmed with fear and failure. We want to live our present circles and status. We often like to walk on the straight lines. But why? because we all afraid of change. We don’t trust our own ability to swim in the sea of life. But we must believe in our own strength. We must believe that the horizon we currently live in was one of our courageous steps which bring us here. We must love the people around us. |
